This page is a hub for our TGBC members who want to volunteer in the St Louis area. At Tower Grove, our motto is “find a hurt and heal it / find a need and fill it”!

We love partnering with area organizations who are helping people. Below is a list of just a few of those we encourage our members to volunteer with…

Homeless Winter Outreach – this group searches the streets in order to transport the homeless to shelters during the cold winter months. Check out their Facebook page for recent updates.

Love the Lou – a terrific group of adult volunteers helping teens on the northside learn positive skills, do homework, and improve their community. Check out their Facebook page here.

Oasis International – Oasis International welcomes newly arrived refugees by supplying the family with furnishings for their new apartment.

Immigrant & Refugee Women’s Program  – IRWP aims to increase the independence and reduce isolation of immigrant and refugee women by teaching them basic English and practical life skills in the security of their own home.

Good Neighbor Initiative – Through this program families have the opportunity to reach out and love their new refugee neighbors, learn about a different culture, and help guide newly arrived refugees in settling into their new lives in the US.

International Institute of St. Louis  – The International Institute is St. Louis is a welcoming center for new Americans. Their mission is to help immigrants and their families become productive Americans and champion ethnic diversity as a cultural and economic strength.
