Slippery Summer Fun

We’ve had a lot of fun on Wednesday nights this summer. We’ve spent time learning about Israel and the Ivory Coast.  During this time we studied prayer, tried new foods, and learned ways to share the gospel. Our group encouraged our community by writing Bible verses, prayers, and sweet messages on the sidewalk. We went on prayer walks and wrote letters to missionary children all over the world. The love was evident.

We wrapped up our summer together with an evening of fun. It was perfectly hot outside. Mr. Kirk crafted a water obstacle course with PVC pipes, foam tubes and a sprinkler hose that the children had to maneuver through to get to a series of pools. After jumping (and falling) in the pools, they put of inflated balls and raced their partner to score a goal. It was a muddy mess, but we had a blast.
