Serving Christ in St. Louis and in cities around the World!

What We Believe

We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the entire bible in the original manuscripts, which is inerrant; the bible is supreme and final in all matters of belief and practice.

We believe in one God eternally existing as three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in Jesus Christ as fully God and fully man; His conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His bodily resurrection; and His personal, visible return with power and great glory.

We believe that man, being created by a direct act of God, was a sinless, free, and moral being; that he sinned and thereby incurred the penalty of physical and spiritual death for himself and for the entire human race, with the result that we are all born sinful by nature.

We believe that Jesus Christ, by His substitutionary death on the cross, made salvation available for all those who will repent of their sins and receive Him as their only Lord and Savior; that those who are regenerated by the Holy Spirit will never perish; and that it is impossible for anyone to be saved except by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that there is a universal invisible church composed of all believers; that the local and visible church is a congregation of baptized believers in a particular locality associated for worship, fellowship, service, and observance of the ordinances; that this local church is interdependent, being under the authority of Christ and the word of God.

We believe that every Christian should be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; that baptism is an act of obedience as an expression of faith; that it is symbolic of the believer’s death, burial, and resurrection with Jesus Christ; that through it the believer identifies with Christ; that it is an appeal to God through a good conscience.

We believer in the observance of the Lord’s Supper as the symbol of continual spiritual fellowship with our Savior; that it is for believers only; and that by doing this we proclaim the death of Jesus Christ until He comes.

We believe in the ultimate triumph and reign of Jesus Christ, His church, and righteousness at His glorious appearing; we believe in the resurrection of the dead, in the eternal blessedness of the saved, and in the eternal suffering of the unsaved.
